You can be a virtual presence anywhere in the world and all from the controlled comfort of your home. It’s a pretty nifty gadget.
It made me think: What implications could this have in the realm of relationships? On the negative side, you won’t be able to cheat easily if your lover can pop out of the closet on wheels and point their virtual finger in your face. Your parents will be able to monitor all your mistakes and dates become very unromantic. I can already hear the girls complaining, “And then he showed up at my doorstep as, guess what? That’s right! A virtual presence device! What a jerk!” But on the plus side, couples won’t be able to cheat easily, you will be able to see everything your parents do wrong and dates to Paris just became possible over the weekend. My oh my, I can’t wait to see what the future will bring…
